2009 ALRA Referee Handbook

Referees Needed!!

We have experienced a decline in officials over the last couple of years and are desparately trying to find youth and adults with a strong sense of right and wrong who are willing to attend a referee clinic.

New referees need a jersey and whistle (approx $40).

You must take this course in order to be a certified official.


We would ask that all fans, players and coaches respect the officials and support the game of lacrosse as it could be your child or spouse out on the floor!

Referees get paid for each game they work: $15-$30/game.
