Criminal Record Check

Red Deer Lacrosse Association requires background screening (also known as a Criminal Record/Vulnerable Sector Check) of individuals involved in lacrosse who hold positions of trust. This is done with the safety of all participants in mind.

- Coaches who are 18 years or older as of January 1st of the current season, are required to complete Criminal Record Checks. Failure to complete the criminal record check by the start of the season may result in ineligibility of the individual for the full season.

- A new Criminal Record Check is required every 2 years. Criminal record checks completed for another minor sports organization no longer than one year prior to the start of evaluation/tryouts will be accepted.
