Box Lacrosse Registration

U7 - U17 Chiefs

All Players and Skill Levels Are Welcome

All Players whether new to lacrosse or returning for another year of fun are welcome to register for lacrosse. Red Deer Lacrosse Association (RDLA) lacrosse programs are designed to allow new players the opportunity to start out in a fundamentally based program, while also allowing returning players the ability to improve their skills.

Teams will be created based on years of experience and skill level that is provided during our registration process as well as a skill evaluation and scrimmage to assist in creating parity. Players will be assigned with the intention of creating teams as evenly as possible starting in early March with the older divisions continuing to our younger divisions. Teams will not be finalized until parity has been achieved.

All teams will be allocated a minimum of two practices a week at various facilities throughout Red Deer. Please be prepared to practice Monday to Thursday. We will do our best to schedule a consistent day and time, but appreciate your understanding.

RDLA teams participate in the Central Alberta Lacrosse League (CALL). League play will commence mid-April and continue until mid-June with playoffs to follow. Games can be expected on Monday, Friday, Saturday and/or Sunday. U7 and U9 groups will typically play on weekends.
